Jump Back In

Remember the swimming hole? Back when you’d run down the bank and jump in the water without a second thought—no cover-up, no sucking in, no worrying about who was looking.

Then life happened. Kids, stress, desk jobs, late suppers, and a sweet tooth that runs the whole show. Now the weight settles in and won’t budge, no matter how hard you try.

Here’s what Granny knew: it’s not just willpower. It’s the sweet tooth calling the shots, digestion that’s gone sluggish, and a body that’s forgotten the taste of bitter.

Skinny Dippin’ Organic Herbal Tincture Blend is made with eight organic herbs chosen to shut down the sweet tooth, wake up your digestion, and help your body burn what you eat instead of storing it.*

Pound for pound, the best Skinny Dippin’ tincture in town.

Why the Weight Won’t Budge

The sweet tooth is the boss.
Sugar lights up the same reward signals in your brain as a habit you can’t kick. The more you eat, the more you want—and the hardest part of any change is the first few weeks of fighting those cravings.

Blood sugar rides a roller coaster.
Sweets and white flour spike your blood sugar, then drop it like a rock. On the way down, you’re hungry, tired, and reaching for more—and the extra gets tucked away as fat, mostly around the middle.

Digestion has gone quiet.
Your stomach, liver, and gallbladder need a signal to get ready for food—and that signal is bitter. Our great-grandparents ate bitter greens and bitter roots every day. We’ve bred bitter right out of our food. Without it, digestion slows down, bile gets sluggish, fat doesn’t break down the way it should, and you never quite feel full.

Stress and short sleep pile on.
Stress hormones and tired nights both turn up hunger and tell your body to hold on to weight.

Signs Your Body Is Holding On

  • Cravings for sweets and bread you can’t shake
  • Hungry again an hour after you eat
  • Energy crashes in the afternoon
  • Weight settling around the middle
  • Bloating and fullness after meals
  • Fatty food that sits heavy
  • Never quite feeling satisfied
  • Eating out of habit or stress, not hunger

The Herbs, and Why Each One Is Here

This blend works in three ways at once. Gymnema and cinnamon shut down the sweet tooth. Gentian, bitter melon, dandelion, and artichoke bring back the bitter that wakes up your digestion and tells you when you’ve had enough. Ginger and fennel warm things up, keep things moving, and ease the bloat.

Organic Gymnema Leaf (Gymnema sylvestre) — The Sweet Tooth Shut-Off

The tradition:
A climbing vine from the forests of India. Its name in Hindi is gurmar—“sugar destroyer.” For centuries, people there have chewed the leaf to take away the taste for sweets.

What’s in it:
Gymnemic acids.

Why it’s outstanding:
Gymnemic acids sit on the sweet-taste spots on your tongue and block them. For a while after you take it, sugar tastes like next to nothing—a cookie tastes like cardboard, and a soda tastes like fizzy water. When sweets stop tasting good, they stop calling your name.*

Its job in this blend:
It leads, shutting down the sweet tooth right on your tongue.*

Organic Gentian Root (Gentiana lutea) — The King of Bitters

The tradition:
A tall yellow wildflower of the high mountain meadows of the Alps. Its root is so bitter that it’s the base of the old-fashioned cocktail bitters still sitting behind every bar. For centuries, Europeans took a few drops before dinner to get the appetite and digestion going.

What’s in it:
Gentiopicroside and amarogentin—among the most bitter compounds known.

Why it’s outstanding:
The moment gentian hits your tongue, your stomach, liver, and gallbladder get the signal to get ready for food. Digestion wakes up, and so do the signals that tell you you’ve had enough.*

Its job in this blend:
It brings back the bitter your body has been missing.*

Organic Bitter Melon Fruit (Momordica charantia) — The Bitter Vegetable

The tradition:
A bumpy green gourd cooked as a vegetable across Asia and the Caribbean. It’s one of the bitterest foods anyone eats on purpose—and people eat it on purpose for a reason.

What’s in it:
Charantin and other bitter compounds.

Why it’s outstanding:
Bitter melon backs up gentian, keeping the bitter signal strong so digestion stays on schedule.*

Its job in this blend:
It adds a second bitter, from a different family, to the first.*

Organic Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale) — The Bile Mover

The tradition:
The weed everybody fights in the yard—and one of the most useful plants growing in it. Every part of it is good for something, and the root is the liver’s part.

What’s in it:
Bitter compounds called taraxacin, along with inulin and minerals.

Why it’s outstanding:
Dandelion root keeps bile flowing, and bile is what breaks down the fat you eat so your body can use it.*

Its job in this blend:
It keeps the bile moving.*

Organic Artichoke Leaf (Cynara scolymus) — The Fat Breaker

The tradition:
The ancient Romans prized artichokes. But the heart you eat is the mild part—the leaves are where the bitter is. Germany’s official herbal commission approved artichoke leaf for digestive support.*

What’s in it:
Cynarin and other bitter compounds.

Why it’s outstanding:
Artichoke leaf gets the liver making more bile, which helps break down fat so it doesn’t sit heavy.*

Its job in this blend:
It helps the body handle fat instead of storing it.*

Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum verum) — The Sugar Steadier

The tradition:
True cinnamon, from the island of Sri Lanka, once called Ceylon. It was once worth more than gold.

What’s in it:
Cinnamaldehyde, the compound behind cinnamon’s warmth.

Why it’s outstanding:
Cinnamon helps keep blood sugar steady, so you don’t get the crash that sends you hunting for something sweet. And its natural sweetness gives you a taste of sweet without a grain of sugar.*

Why Ceylon:
Most grocery-store cinnamon is cassia, which carries far more coumarin. Ceylon is the true cinnamon, gentle enough for every day.*

Its job in this blend:
It smooths out the roller coaster.*

Organic Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale) — The Warmer

The tradition:
Ginger has been the kitchen’s warming root for thousands of years, from the spice trade to Granny’s gingerbread.

What’s in it:
Gingerols and shogaols, the source of ginger’s warmth and bite.

Why it’s outstanding:
Ginger warms you from the inside, gets digestion moving, and helps the body burn a little hotter.*

Its job in this blend:
It turns up the heat and keeps things moving.*

Organic Fennel Seed (Foeniculum vulgare) — The Meetin’ Seed

The tradition:
The Puritans called fennel “meetin’ seed.” They chewed it through long Sunday sermons to quiet a growling stomach until dinner.

What’s in it:
Anethole, the sweet, licorice-like note in fennel.

Why it’s outstanding:
Fennel eases bloating and gas and settles a growling stomach between meals.*

Its job in this blend:
It eases the bloat and rounds off all that bitterness.*

Better Together: Skinny Dippin’ Wellness Tea

The tincture and the tea are built to work as a team, and they share four herbs: Organic Gymnema, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Ginger, and Organic Fennel.

Then the tea brings what a tincture can’t:

  • Organic Green Tea and Organic Yerba Mate — Natural energy that gets you moving and helps your body burn a little hotter.
  • Organic Garcinia — The tart little fruit of Southeast Asia, used to help curb the appetite.
  • Organic Nopal — Prickly pear cactus pad, rich in fiber that helps you feel full.

Alcohol pulls the strong bitter compounds out of the herbs and concentrates them into drops. Hot water pulls out the plant compounds alcohol leaves behind—and a full tablespoon of whole herb in every cup is far more plant than any dropper can hold.

A simple rhythm: drops 15 minutes before meals, and a cup of Skinny Dippin’ Wellness Tea mid-morning or mid-afternoon, when the cravings usually hit. The tea is naturally caffeinated, so keep it to the first half of the day. Use 1 tablespoon per 8 oz cup.

What Helps Besides the Bottle

  • Eat protein first. Start every meal with protein. It steadies blood sugar and keeps you full for hours.
  • Cut the sugar and the white flour. The drops make it easier. You still have to stop buying it.
  • Don’t drink your calories. Soda, sweet tea, juice, and fancy coffee drinks add up fast.
  • Walk after supper. Ten minutes after a meal helps your body use what you just ate.
  • Lift something heavy. Muscle burns more than fat, even while you sleep.
  • Eat supper early, and close the kitchen after.
  • Drink plenty of water. Thirst often shows up dressed as hunger.
  • Sleep. One short night turns up hunger and cravings all the next day.

Getting Ready

Skinny Dippin’ isn’t a cleanse, so there’s nothing to clear out before you start. But a few things can stand between you and results. Granny’s rule still holds: never more than two tinctures at a time.

If your liver is behind, start there.
Your liver is where fat gets processed. If fatty food sits hard, you’re often queasy or constipated, or your stools run pale, run a round of Liver Cleanse first, then start Skinny Dippin’. Don’t run them together—they share Organic Dandelion Root and Organic Artichoke Leaf.

If the cravings feel like they have a mind of their own, yeast may be behind them.
Yeast lives on sugar and keeps you reaching for more. Clear it first with Biofilm Buster and Candida Yeast Balance, then start Skinny Dippin’.

If stress is behind the weight
—wired and tired, waking at 3 a.m., or weight settling around the middle—run Adrenal Cortisol alongside Skinny Dippin’, at a different time of day.

If the change is behind the weight,
Menopause Perimenopause can run alongside Skinny Dippin’. They share no herbs.

Does Time of Month Matter?

No. The full-moon timing belongs to parasite cleansing, because parasites are most active and laying eggs around the full moon. Start any day.

How to Take It

Shake well—every time.
This is a whole-herb extract, and plant matter settles to the bottom between doses. Sediment means the herbs are really in there. Shake before every dose so each serving carries the full blend.

Empty stomach or food?
Take it 15 minutes before meals—and it matters. The bitters need to reach your tongue and your stomach before the food does, so digestion is awake and ready when the meal arrives.

How:
On the tongue. Put your drops right on your tongue, or in a small spoonful of water, and hold them there for about 30 seconds before you swallow. Gymnema works on the taste buds themselves, and the bitters send their signal from the tongue. Swallow it too fast, and you miss half of what it does.

When:
15 minutes before meals, up to three times a day. If the afternoon sweet tooth is your downfall, save a dose for then.

  • Adults: 20 drops, up to 3 times daily
  • Teens 16+: 10 drops, up to 2 times daily
  • Sensitive individuals: Start with 5 drops

Taste:
Bitter—very bitter. That’s how it works. And don’t be surprised when sweets taste flat for a while afterward. That’s the gymnema doing its job.

Binders: Not Needed

Skinny Dippin’ isn’t a cleanse. It doesn’t break anything loose or send a load of waste through the gut, so there’s nothing for a binder to catch.

If you’re taking a binder for another blend, keep it at least two hours away from your drops.

What to Expect

  • Right away: Sweets taste flat for a while after each dose.
  • The first week or two: Cravings start to quiet down, and you feel full sooner.
  • Weeks three to six: Less bloating, steadier energy, and the scale starts to move.

There’s no herxing with this one. Some people notice looser stools during the first few days as bile gets moving. That settles on its own.

How Often and How Long

How often:
Up to 3 times a day, 15 minutes before meals.

How long:
In rounds. Eight weeks on, one week off, then start again for as long as you need it. The week off keeps the bitters working their best.*

Taking It With Other Godly Granny Blends

Skinny Dippin’ shares herbs with several other blends. Here’s how to handle each one:

  • Liver Cleanse — Shares Organic Dandelion Root and Organic Artichoke Leaf. Run one at a time, never together.
  • Candida Yeast Balance — Shares Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Bark and Organic Ginger Root. Take at different times of day.
  • Biofilm Buster — Shares Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Bark and Organic Ginger Root. Take at different times of day.
  • Heavy Metal Detox — Shares Organic Dandelion Root and Organic Ginger Root. Take at different times of day.

If you’re in the middle of a cleanse that’s already running two tinctures, finish it before you start Skinny Dippin’.

Why Violet Glass

Amber glass is so last century.

Every Godly Granny tincture is bottled in Miron violet glass, developed in Switzerland for makers who take freshness seriously.

Light protection.
Clear, amber, and blue glass all let most visible light through, and visible light is what breaks a plant extract down—it drives the oxidation that fades color, flattens taste, and weakens the compounds you’re paying for. Violet glass blocks the entire visible spectrum, letting through only a narrow band of violet light along with UV-A and infrared, the wavelengths that help preserve what’s inside.

Extended shelf life.
Alcohol is a natural preservative. Paired with glass that keeps light off the extract, your bottle stays strong for years, not months—5–7 years tightly closed in a cool, dark place. No refrigeration needed.

Herb frequency retention.
Every living plant carries its own subtle energy, or frequency. Miron’s makers—and many herbalists—hold that violet light helps keep that living quality intact long after harvest, so what’s in your bottle stays as close as possible to the plant it came from.

Who Should Not Take It

Do not take if any of the following apply:

  • Pregnant or nursing.
  • Under 16.
  • Blood sugar that already runs low. Gymnema, cinnamon, and bitter melon can all bring it down.
  • Gallstones or a blocked bile duct. Dandelion and artichoke get bile moving.
  • A sensitive or ulcer-prone stomach. Bitters raise stomach acid.
  • Ragweed or daisy-family allergy. Dandelion and artichoke are in the same family.
  • Carrot-family allergy (carrot, celery, or fennel). Contains fennel.
  • Avoiding alcohol completely. A 20-drop serving is less than a teaspoon of liquid, but it is alcohol.

Warnings

  • Don’t skip meals. Take your drops before you eat, not instead of eating.
  • Shaky, sweaty, or lightheaded? Eat something with protein and take less next time.
  • Heartburn? Take your drops with the first few bites of a meal instead of before it.
  • Stop taking it if the whites of your eyes or your skin turn yellow, your urine turns dark brown, or you have pain under your right ribs.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
