Mica mining has been associated with serious child-labor concerns in parts of the world. That's why we source our mica from South America, where our supplier represents that the material is produced without child labor, rather than sourcing it from India.

What About Iron Oxides?

The word oxide sounds considerably scarier than it is.

D&C Red No. 28 is a man-made, synthetic color additive.

D&C Red No. 28 is permanently listed by the FDA for cosmetic use and is subject to FDA certification requirements and applicable specifications.
